Welcome to Ice Hockey!   Governed provincially by the Saskatchewan Amateur Hockey Association, (789-5101).   This Saskatchewan Winter Games event takes place Wednesday, February 25 - Saturday, February 28, at the Centennial Arena, located at 305-2nd Avenue East in Nipawin.   The arena is a good facility with large dressing rooms and ample room for warm-ups, officials and spectators.   Minor hockey in Nipawin is thriving, with over 200 boys and girls participating in 6 divisions.   There is also a successful Junior A team, the Nipawin Hawks, and a senior team, the Nipawin Nites.
