Welcome to Speed Skating!   Governed provincially by the Saskatchewan Amateur Speed Skating Association, (780-9400).   This Saskatchewan Winter Games event takes place Wednesday, February 25 - Saturday, February 28, at the Jubilee Arena, located at 305-2nd Avenue East in Nipawin.   The arena is a good facility with large dressing rooms and ample room for warm-ups, officials and spectators.   Although hosting speed skating events is new to Nipawin, there has been successful involvement with Special Olympics in this sport.
