Wilbur-r-r-r Strutting His Stuff Across Saskatchewan!
Since Wilbur-r-r-r's arrival in Nipawin on December 31, 1996, he has been a very busy bear over the past year.

Wilbur-r-r-r The Community #1 Volunteer
Wilbur-r-r-r is into Community Events BIG TIME! Being the social bear he is, he
just can't seem to miss a local or event such as: Nipawin Evergreen Curling Classic,
Alex Wright, L.P. Miller and Codette Schools, Pineview Lodge, the Lion's Provincial
Convention, Nipawin Bowl-a Spiel and numerous other events. Plus, Wilbur-r-r-r
was the first volunteer to register with the Games Recruitment Committee!
Hamming It Up In Front of Crowds
Fair Parades top Wilbur-r-r-r's list of favorite events. He loves the crowds and
the kids; and as he traveled throughout Saskatchewan, he never hesitated to invite
everyone to the '98 Saskatchewan Winter Games.

Wilbur-r-r-r prepared his lines aggressively and acted every sport to Academy standards
during the filming for both the '98 Saskatchewan Winter Games Video and the TV
Commercials. Wilbur-r-r-r reported having fun, but being a Star can be tiering.
